We need a few more volunteers to help at our community booth at The Bloomverse Expo, hosted by branch member, Viridiana Robles(!). Shifts are available based on your availability! Please reach out to Myra Burkhardt if you want to help.

Please join us on June 14th, 2026 for our monthly meeting of the Mae Blanton DFW Branch of the American Begonia Society where we will be hosting our Begonia Community Awards Ceremony and Convention Debrief. Come celebrate the results of all the hard effort our branch has put in towards the conservation of begonias!

Merry Christmas (in July), begoniacs! Come spread the holiday cheer early on July 12th, 2026 for our monthly meeting of the Mae Blanton DFW Branch of the American Begonia Society where our President Glenn Dickerson will be hosting our annual Christmas in July party! Attendees are encouraged to bring a white elephant gift (no more than $20 value) for our gift exchange. Normal business meeting will occur before the festivities begin.

Topic: 'What You Need to Know to Show Begonias'

During this meeting, attendees will learn all about what it takes to make a begonia show ready! Whether it be cane or rhizomatous, trailing or scandant, or anything and everything in between, Don Miller and Jessica Dazey will give you tips and tricks on how to make that bad begonia sparkle! The American Begonia Society's yearly national convention takes place in Fort Worth this May 27th through May 30th, and we recommend anyone interested in showing begonias to attend this amazing presentation.
